Q & A:

A: Does the venue have Toilets?

Q: YES! The venue has male and female toilets in the main café building and a second set of toilets over near the pitlane are. 

 

Q:: What time does the show gates open & close to spectators?

A: The Show opens at 10.00am to spectators and the gates are closed at 4.30pm

 

Q: Is the Show outside?

A: The show venue is set in an old quarry, the venue is 95% outside. There is a café that over looks the race track should you need to shelter from the Cumbrian Weather. As well as a large outdoor pits lane building. 

 

Q: Does the venue have disabled spectator parking? 

A: YES! We have 8 spaces for people who hold blue badges.

 

Q: Is there phone signal at the Venue?

A: YES! But this is dependent on which network provider you are with and like most places in Cumbria. The venue is an old quarry so you are low down.

 

Q: How much is a child's ticket?

A: Children under the age of 5 are FREE. Children 6yr - 15yrs are £5 each. 

 

Q: How much is an Adults ticket on the gate?

A: An Adult ticket is £13 on the gate. We do advise buying tickets in advance, these are on the website for a discount price of £10 per person. Tickets on the gate are CASH ONLY.

 

Q: Is the venue Push Chair & Wheel Chair friendly?

A: YES! The car parking is gravel but we have limited places for blue badge holders on tarmac. The main area of the show is Tarmac. Just be pre warned that some areas are on slight gradients. We do have friendly marshals that are happy to help any way they can.

 

Q: What time can exhibitors move there 'Wheels'?

A: Exhibitors must remain in there allocated places until 4.30pm.

 

Q: Is the venue dog friendly?

A: The venue does allow dogs but they must be kept on a lead at all times. It is advised that any dogs that do not like loud noise or crowds are to be left at home. Dogs are NOT allowed in the Café area. 

 

Q: Do you need a wristband if Exhibiting? 

A: YES! You will receive a ticket pack via email 2 weeks prior to the event and the QR code on your ticket pack will be exchanged for a wristband.

 

Q: What tickets do I need?

A: If you are showing an Automotive you must register by filling in the Register my wheels form on the website. If you are registered your ticket will cover you, your car and one passenger. Spectators can by tickets in advance online now on the website or on the day on the gate but at a higher rate. 

 

Q: Can I pay by card? 

A: With been in an area with signal that is different between providers we advise people to bring cash with them. Tickets on the gate is CASH ONLY. Traders will have card machines with them and can take both cash and card payments.

 

Q: Can I buy Merchandise at the show?

A: YES! Wheels int Lakes will have a merch stall selling our Jumpers, Hoodies, T shirts and Stickers. 

 

Q: What time do I need to arrive at the show if I'm an exhibitor?

A: All exhibitors will be sent a time slot with there ticket pack 2 weeks prior to the event. Gates open at 7am for traders and exhibitors. All trades and exhibitors must be in place by no later than 9.30am.

 

Q: Where can i buy Raffle tickets from? 

A: Raffle tickets will be on sale in our Merch stall. Tickets will be £1 a strip for 5 tickets. Raffle will be drawn in the afternoon around 3.30/4.00pm

 

Q: How do i register to take part in the Up Hill Wheel Barrow Race?

A: You can register to take part in the up hill wheel barrow race at the March stall. Just go an ask to sign up and we will explain all on the day.
